Cryogenic and Freezer Boxes
Cryogenic and freezer boxes, available in either polycarbonate or water repellent fiberboard, are used to store materials in ultra-low or cryogenic freezers. Typically made from cold-resistant fiberboard or plastic resins, they usually have drainage holes to facilitate removal of melted ice or liquid nitrogen.
Fiberboard freezer boxes can be fitted with dividers that are designed to fit various sizes of tubes ranging from PCR vials to 50-mL centrifuge tubes. Most fiberboard boxes are about 5 inches square with heights (including lids) from 2 to 5 inches.
Polycarbonate cryogenic vial storage boxes can be configured with clear covers for easy sample identification. Plastic cryogenic freezer boxes may have clear covers for easier sample identification. Open or clear bottoms allow for bar code scanning. Lids are also sometimes printed with a grid design and space to note information about the samples in specific positions. Plastic storage boxes may have separate or attached (hinged) lids for convenience.
Cryogenic and freezer boxes are available in assorted colors.
Alternatives to boxes include aluminum storage canes for cryostorage tubes and cell freezing containers for controlled freezing of cell samples.

Polycarbonate 2" boxes hold most popular cryo and cold storage vials and fit into standard freezer racks. Boxes have clear lids with locator grid to facilitate sample identification. Polycarbonate boxes are designed to withstand temperature extremes of -196 to 121. Boxes have drain holes for venting and safety. Keyed lid prevents misalignment of grid. Dimensions (L x W x H): 3 x 3 x 2 1/16″ (76 x 76 x 53mm), cell opening 0.96 inch.

LifeSensors Tandem Ubiquitin Binding Entities (M1 TUBE) Magnetic 1mL
LifeSensors has developed TUBE (Tandem Ubiquitin Binding Entity) technology for the detection, characterization and isolation of polyubiquitylated proteins. These polyubiquitinated proteins can be detected in cells and tissue extracts. Our polyubiquitin capture reagents capitalize on the linkage of multiple ubiquitin interacting motifs (UIMs) to generate reagents with a high affinity for polyubiquitin. TUBEs have 100 to 1000-fold higher affinity for polyubiquitin chains compared to monomer ubiquitin binding domains (UBDs). TUBEs both stabilize and bind to ubiquitylated proteins, serving as an indispensable tool for ubiquitologists. Our M1 linear ubiquitin TUBE has high selectivity for M1 linear-linked polyubiquitin over the more common K48- and K63-linked polyubiquitin chains, making it a powerful tool for studying the biological consequences of this ubiquitin linkage type.
